**Results from weekend and Fixtures for week ahead**
On Saturday 24th March – our super Saints Youths marched into the final of the Tipperary Youth Cup Final with a great win of 4.0 V Cahir Park, at the Complex, Tipperary – This is a great achievement for the lads and Manager Seamie and will be defending their Title against the winners of Cashel Town V Twomileborris – Fixture yet to be confirmed and fixed. Our goal scorers on the day were DJ (pen), Liam, Evan and Colin. Well done Boys.
On Sunday morning 25th March – Our Saints B Team played a TSDL Division 1 league fixture at the Complex, Tipperary V Cahir Park – Unfortunately the lads lost 3.1 with our goal coming from Danny O Brien.
On Sunday 25th March – a massive crowd gathered for the hugely anticipated Quarter Final of Munster Junior Cup between St. Michaels and Newmarket Celtic – This was an excellent game and ended after 90 mins 1.1 with our goal coming from David Slattery. Extra time was played and nothing could be done to separate both sides. Dreaded Penalties ensued with our lads losing on a score line of 5.4 after sudden death. Our goal scorers were Joey Mulcahy, John O Brien, David Slattery and Colin Bargary and Olly O Driscoll had his penalty saved with young Luke Quinn missing his penalty. We would like to wish Newmarket Celtic good luck as they endeavour to reach the Munster Junior Cup Final but face another very difficult tie away to Janesboro FC of Limerick for the semi final game. Our lads played excellent on the day and we would like to send out good wishes to Captain Paul Breen who was not able to feature yesterday and also to Jim Carr who went off injured. We would also like to thank all who helped in the kitchen at half time and thank the crowd for the huge home support we had yesterday. You were super and cheered on our lads from start to finish. After the game, both Teams and supporters all met up at The Porter House – Many thanks for refreshments and food to Staff of Porter House.
